What you won't forget about your wedding: how you felt

I’ve always loved the Maya Angelou quote “People will forget what you said. They will forget what you did. But people will never forget the way you made them feel.”

I think is especially true when it comes to weddings. We know that many of the details (as exquisite and meaningful as they may be) will fade into the background and what will remain after your wedding is said and done is the impression of how you felt on that day.

What will remain for those closest to you is the impression of how you made them feel.

What will linger for your guests long after the music has faded and the flowers have been gathered is the sense of togetherness and warmth they enjoyed for celebrating a day filled with beauty and love.

So as you remember your special days that have past or plan those that are coming, remember the things that matter most and hold tightly to the things that bring you joy.
